The Annual Interhouse Swimming Meet of Visakha Vidyalaya was held on the 19th of January 2018 at the college swimming pool.
Interflash 2018 provided an atmosphere of orchestrated pulse soothing the massive audience in a subliminal manner on the 26th of January 2018 at Viharamahadevi Open Theatre from 5pm onwards.
Interflash by the Interact District 3220 featured a fabulous line up of performances by popular artists such as Bathiya & Santhush, Jayasri, Lahiru Perera, Indrachapa Liyanage, Billy Fernando with 2Forty2, Infinity, Yaka crew, Amuthu and many more in the Music Industry who has delivered to their utmost, resulting themselves to score a well known position on the peak of the modern Sri Lankan entertainment industry.
The organizing Interact District 3220 saddled up on a venture to unveil the talents their fellow Interactors are born with, by holding 'Live Light 2018' which extracted the finalists from over fifty applicants, where the winner for the competition will be selected solely based on a voting system via SMS. The finalists performed on the Interflash 2018 stage and Ama Jayasinghe of the Interact Club of Visakha Vidyalaya won the battle as the Champion of 'Live Light 2018' followed by Classical Gas of Carey College as the Runners -Up and Abhishek Navodh from Asian Grammar School on the 3rd place.
The concert provided a variety of food stalls to keep the taste buds up and running for the 'most supportive' audience to hit Colombo, while they enjoy the evening which was magical and phenomenal.
Prior to the commencement of the show, the organizing committee gifted the die -hard petrol heads with “The Interflash - Car Show” which was held from 3:00pm onwards.
“The Interflash - Car Show” which took over the Viharamahadevi Park premises showcased the finest vehicles in the island bringing vehicles ranging from classics to vintage cars for display.
The enchanting evening definitely left the gigantic amazing crowd with much to talk about and a lot of beautiful memories to cherish till the next edition of Interflash. Accommodating the biggest crowd the Viharamahadevi Open air theatre has ever seen, the 26th of January 2018 was indeed an evening where the InterFlash committee revealed an evening of magnificence.
