Inception 2023/2024 (Inception’23) marked the Installation ceremony of the IEEE Student Branch of Informatics institute of Technology, along with its esteemed chapters; the IEEE Computer Society, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, and the Women in Engineering affinity group on September 15, 2023.

This momentous occasion holds significance in the academic calendar, marking the transition of leadership and the start of a new term filled with promise and innovation. The presence of distinguished guests added prestige to the event. Mr. Dhammika Maransinghe, Vice Chairperson of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section, and Ms. Naomi Krishnaraja, Dean of the IIT school of computing, graced the event as Chief Guest and Guest of Honor, respectively. In addition, counselors, advisers, lecturers and other colleagues attended the event.

  The Installation Ceremony was a memorable occasion, filled with meaningful moments, inspiring insights and chock full of joyous celebrations.
