IDM Sports Fiesta 2019, the annual inter-branch sports competition, was successfully held on the 10th of February in Colombo. This event was organized by the IDM Sports and Recreation Club. The Chairman of IDM, participated as the chief guest at the event. The event was attended by students, parents and staff members from all around the country, representing the IDM islandwide branch network.

The feature of the day was the highly competitive inter-branch Cricket tournament. IDM Matara Campus emerged as the winners of the Dr. Bandu Ranasinghe (Founder’s) Challenge Trophy, while IDM Kuliyapitiya Campus was the runners-up. The Girl's Cricket tournament was won by IDM Gampaha Campus, with IDM Nittambuwa Campus emerging as the runners-up. The Sports Fiesta also featured, several track and field events, including girls and boys relays.
