The leader in private sector higher education industry in Sri lanka opened a brand new purpose-built state-of-the-art campus facility in Kandy on the 6th of March 2018.

As the first branch campus of ICBT started its operation in Kandy in year 2006, due to rapid growth and demand moved to a bigger building in 2010, now situated in D.S. Senanayake Veediya in the heart of Kandy the modern 90,000 square feet new campus will feature state-of-the-art campus facilities on par with European campuses to provide the best learning and teaching facilities to students in the central region.

The new ICBT Kandy campus have modern class rooms with audio visual equipment, IT labs with latest computers, Engineering labs, library, cafeteria, student recreation and gym. ICBT Kandy Campus offer Diploma, Higher Diploma, Bachelor and Master Degrees in association with leading British Universities and awarding bodies. The colorful opening ceremony was well represented by the UK partner Universities of ICBT Campus with high level delegations from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Liverpool John Moors University and Birmingham City University.

Dr. Jagath Alwis the Chairman of ICBT Campus ceremonially opened the new Kandy Campus amongst well-wishers, parents and students. Speaking at the opening event, Dr. Alwis mentioned the new Kandy Campus was a much needed requirement for students from the region to pursue quality higher education.
