The long standing traditional Annual Freshers' Cricket Match of the Law Faculty of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University was held on the 6th of May 2017 at the Irrigation Grounds from 7.00AM onwards.
The long standing traditional Annual Freshers' Cricket Match of the Law Faculty of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University was held on the 6th of May 2017 at the Irrigation Grounds from 7.00AM onwards.
A large number of Law students of intake 29, 30, 31,32 and 33 batches crowded the grounds on the Sunday morning to watch their fellow colleagues compete against each other to win this year's HaLaw trophy.
The cricket match tradition which was initiated by the Law Faculty is presented with the premier intention of building Unity among all intakes and especially to bond with the newbies joining KDU.
The day was relished with the match excitement and many more fun filled games which were organised for the crowd to enjoy. The event presented alluring food stalls to taste and an amazing DJ performance and after party to dance to. After a sunny day of much hustle in the cricket field, the winners were prizzed with trophies and medals.
