The first ever Holi event to hit the beautiful beach side of Wennapuwa area was held on the 21st of April 2018 from 10am to 6pm by the initiation of Shan Dias Media Association.

The April Holi Festival 2018 presented the Wennapuwa crowd with awesome EDM music by well known DJs in the area, to dance the Saturday away partying with family and the closest friends. The large crowd dressed in white was soon adorned with multi colours so bright and beautiful, as they were given access to an unlimited amount of colours in a range of more than ten different colour varieties. With New Year celebrations have been concluded just around the corner, the celebration party gusto of the Wennapuwa residents was boosted again by the Holi Festival.

The music presented a great combination of rhythm and style with a punch to play and rejoice with colours. The April Holi Festival 2018 was accompanied by a large number of great food stalls across the ground which was full of mouthwatering food and drinks throughout the day.
