Gunner Supercross - 2014, motor racing event of the Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment was held for the 9th consecutive year at Minneriya Sri Lanka Artillery track, on Sunday 3rd of August 2014. The Gunner Supercross 2014 is one if the prime highlights of the sporting and racing arena in Sri Lanka. Introduced in the year 2004 by the then Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Artillery, Major General S. D Tennakoon RSP, the Gunner Supercross has indeed marched from strength to strength each year. The event that was held last year was a tremendous success with over 120 racers challenging each other with relentless competition showing in each swerving move and resounding with each screeching tire while being applauded by a massive crowd.
