The fourth consecutive “The CIO Confluence 2018” was held on the 21st of August 2018 at The Hilton Colombo by the Banks’ CIO Forum of Sri Lanka in association with Pencil Works Pvt Ltd.

The focal point of the CIO Confluence 2018 was the digital transformation in making banking invisible. The conference centered around four major topics as reinventing the consumer journey, leveraging the power of data, redefining the operating model and redefining the distribution model.

The keynote speaker of the event was the Futurist and Business Technologist Steve Sammartino. Renowned personals of well known companies attended the conference as panelists.

The event held panel discussion that focused on discovering innovative ideas that will re-define the customer experience, leading to both internal and external customer satisfaction. The CIO Confluence marked the conclusion of this year's event with a Cocktail function featuring Marians with Amal Perera and Corrine Almeda.
