Wild and free without a clue, the band Boyzone commenced only as five lads from the North side of Dublin singing their heart out in the music they made which was born out of their talents. The band surviving ‘every battle, every scar’ has imprinted their significance for twenty five years since their debut album, ‘Said and Done’ which crashed into the UK #1 spot in 1995. From selling millions of records to travelling on world tours both near and far, Boyzone acquired a worldwide range of diehard fans from West to the Asiatic.

In 1996, they released their second album ‘A Different Beat’ which featured hit songs such as ‘Isn’t It A Wonder’, ‘Picture Of You’ and ‘Words’ which secured UK #1 position. The album ‘Where We Belong’ made its debut releasing music which was soothing to the very souls across Europe to the far ends of Asia while concurrently achieving top spots for singles such as ‘All That I Need’, ‘Baby Can I Hold You’ and ‘No Matter what’. Just few months walking into composing their next album, Ronan, Keith, Mikey & Shane faced their biggest personal tragedy of losing their band mate Stephen Gately, who suddenly passed away on the 10th of October 2009. Thus, the fourth studio album ‘Brother’ was unveiled as a tribute to their late band member Stephen Gately.

The celebratory plans which includes a series of concerts in Asia, will start off from Colombo and travel to Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, gifting on stage to the Lankan fans a treat of golden tunes - from their first debut to their twentieth anniversary ‘BZ20’ hits such as ‘Love Will Save the Day’, ‘Light up the Night’, ‘Who We Are’, touching up on their first themed album ‘Dublin to Detroit’ and along with the latest fresh productions; for being a part of their 25 years long musical journey.

The Colombo show will be presented by Classic Funtime in partnership with Classic Travels, DCI Events and Entertainment, Hilton Colombo and Continental Insurance.
