Adharaneeya Kathawak – A melody of love, Sri Lanka’s first movie musical, premiered on the 10th of June at the Regal Cinema, Colombo at 6.30 pm. A magnetic storyline written by Uwani Chamika and Priyantha Colombage, it follows the journey of love through many a rocky road.

This cinematic masterpiece was directed by Priyantha Colombage and features Hemal Ranasinghe, Udari Warnakulasooriya, Bimal Jayakodi and Aruni Rajapaksha in starring roles. Scoring the context beautifully is the musical works of Udara Samaraweera and the powerful vocals of Chitral (Chity) Somapala along with Kasun Kalhara, Amal Perera, Uresha Ravihari, Amila Perera and Kushani Sadareka.
