ACCA Corporate Race & Networking Cocktail

The Corporate Race, a thrilling, race-against-time event where twelve teams will battle it out for the winning cash prize of LKR 15,000.
The twelve teams composed of four participants from various higher education institutions.
The Corporate Race start off from Independence Square and will run from 9 am to 4 pm.
The teams will face challenges at corporate offices or outlets of six chosen companies. The companies participating in this event will be from diverse sectors like Banking, Insurance, FM CG, Accounting/Audit or even a Fast Food Chain.
The teams would have to figure out the companies based on hints given to them. Once the teams find their way around to the chosen company offices or outlet, they will have to complete a challenge testing their skills, knowledge, intelligence, ability to think on their feet and time management.
The challenges will vary from coming up with a marketing plan for a specific company, promotion of a product, writing a business plan, facing an interview, problem solving exercises, etc. Each team will be given 30 minutes to complete a given task.
The winner will be judged on the number of tasks they have completed and the total marks that they have obtained as a result. This event will be followed by a Networking Cocktail Event where the winners will be announced and the awards will be handed out.
