The Communication Unit of Nalanda College plays a prominent role among the media units of other leading schools. Further-more Nalanda College Communication Unit has proudly launched its First School based TV transmission “NALANDASARA” in 2005 and was the first to use Chroma Technology in “NALANADA TV 2008”, and transmitted 13 Radio Stations and 5 TV Stations.

The Communication Unit plans to hold its 6th Media Day “Samabhasha 2012” ceremoniously awarding the winners of the all island announcing competition held on the 24th of June 2012.The Media day will commence on the 25th of October along with the launch of “Nalanda TV 2012” which will be broadcasted from the 25th to 28th of October.
