University of Colombo is currently the oldest institution of modern higher education in Sri Lanka with a proud history of over 115 years, the very reason that has earned its reputation as the leading university of the country. The faculty of Management and Finance being one of the youngest faculties in the university has unique image and reputation.
The Batch of 2010/2011 of the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo has decided to organize “INVIERNO 2012” which is based on colors of Blue and White under the theme of “Winter in July” inclusive of drama, songs and dances, as a forum for the newcomers to display their talents to welcome the recently joined batch of students to the Faculty.
This event is an annual event in the university calendar. It is a part of the traditions set by the senior batches to inculcate true values in the hearts of the newcomers and to integrate them into the university atmosphere. This event includes three major events, Talent Show, Batch Queen Contest and the after party. This is a memorable evening of entertainment for the newcomers, abiding to the values of the Faculty. The day gives a sample of the best of student life, another chance to make new and ultimate introduction to life at university.
