The ART Club of ANC Education is organizing a public awareness art exhibition.
Purpose and Objective
We, the Art Club of ANC Education, are organizing an art exhibition and competition to create awareness on current impending social issues among the youth of Sri Lanka. " Change Within" is not just any art exhibition but an attempt to bring out a change within youth. It routes them to present their unique solutions through paint brush and canvas.
The Art Club of ANC Education has taken the initiative in drafting the plans to speak of the current issues that youth faces. The issues that have been taken into consideration are: abortion, substance abuse, sexual harassment, and violence against men, women and children. The aim of the program is to reach many national and international schools and universities possible, and to hear the opinions and answers of the youth who are between 15 - 30, since it is the youth that should raise their voice on these issues and be aware of. Change Within is a request to be heard and to be felt with the youth of this country.
The exhibition is to be held on the 30th November 2012 and 1st December 2012 at the J.D.A. Perera Art Gallery.
