Kaushike Ranawake is the 1st youngest music producer to produce trance & electro tracks in Srilanka. His biggest hit was " OBA MAGENAM OFFICIAL TRANCE MIX 2011 " sung by Rakitha Welangoda.Oba Mage Nam Official Trance Mix was his 1st official release in Srilanaka, it took a good place in the srilankan music industy and it reached the international radios too. His 2nd hit was " TRADITIONAL VOLUME 2011 " with Kushan Niluka. This became a big hit among the Srilankan electro lovers & it BANGED !! all the clubs and beach parties around Colombo at once. Kaushike is also known as DJ EDIFIER X in the Srilankan music field. He had released more than 250 remixes and original mixes all over the internet. Before producing tracks, Kaushike was a progressive DJ & a radio host. Kaushike had produced music for teledramas such as " Kavya " & " Olu " and many more TV Commercials & now Kaushike has achieved a great success in the srilankan music industry by releasing his original electro mixes and his original productions. He produces progressive music mostly for UK / Australian , Bangladesh & Canadian artists.

How did you enter the music industry ?
Well. I entered the music industry at the tender age of 12, I started using basic softwares for music mixing. I had a dream of being a good DJ. So when i was 17 i started djing and i got a good shocking response from the listeners. Then i thought im not even so dumb in djing. At the start of my music career even i didnt know how to play a piano, i knew only music mixing. Then i started to play keyboards with the help from my mother. So this is how i started doing music.

About your education ?
My schools were Ecole International School & Lexicon International School. After O/L''s i did my London A/L's privately at British Council & also i took the First Certificate in English (FCE) & Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the British Council too. Now im completing my (Bsc) HND in BIT Degree at the Institute of Business Studies.

What cosmetics do you recommend ?
Ahh, Im not a girl so im not using cosmetics but i love to use perfumes. My favourite ones are ( Eclat , D&G , Black Code , Hugo , Burberry , Alph Lauren ), Out of this selection Hugo & Alph Lauren is my favourite .

What is the secret behind your success ?
The secret behind my success is my parents & my siblings. I dont have any blood related siblings but my best friends and my cousins are my siblings. I must specially thank my remix fans too.....

We heard that your a good photographer... Isn't it ?
Im a nature lover. Every morning when i get up, I start capturing pictures every day. Photography has been my hobbie for like 3 years.. now I took a step further .. lets see whats going to happen..I’m working right now in different projects for independent magazines and online magazines. Xtreme youth will be posting my new photography stuff very soon.

What do you think about love ?? & tell us about your soul mate :)
Love is just uncontrollable and undescribable... Somtimes love is not only sweet and romantic, as well as tears and pain. All the people in the pursuit of love, but constantly injured in love. The mystery of love is yearning . Love is not finding someone to live with. It's finding someone you can't live without, but i have to tell you one thing mother's love is the real love. Well, i do have a soul mate :) She is also a producer and a deejay, same as me.

What are your favourite countries ? & how many countries have you visited so far ?
I have been to India , Germany & United Kingdom but Germany is my favourite country. Going to germany was one of dreams that i had from my small days.

What do you have to say to your fans ?
I must thank all of my fans for supporting me for such a long time . I would love to see your feed back(good or bad) for my each and every new release. Im nothing without my remix fans.
