Light in my life, fades away with time
Hearts linked with mine
Saying good bye all the time;
Tears that I cry, no longer
Are a friend of mine….
Not a single voice to console me
That everything’s fine…..
Things that we love,
Do they forever stay by our side?
Silence coming down,
Whispers things that I don’t like;
Promises were so true,
But do they blurt with time?
Am I the one who feels that
it was ‘me’ who was left behind…….
Days that I loved
Lost among the pages of life….
Everything seems changed,
But I’m with an aching heart;
In a sleepless silent night’
With warm tears, in my eyes
I wish for the rain to pour down again
And wash my soul from all this pain…..
